Gotu Kola (Centella Asiatica)
The longevity herb — brain, skin, circulation, and nervous system support from Ayurveda's most revered adaptogen.
Gotu kola (Centella asiatica) is one of the most celebrated herbs in Ayurvedic and Traditional Chinese Medicine, used for over 3,000 years to promote longevity, mental clarity, and wound healing. Rich in triterpenoids — particularly asiaticoside and madecassoside — it stimulates collagen synthesis, improves cerebral circulation, calms the nervous system, and accelerates tissue repair. In Sri Lanka, where elephants (renowned for their memory) are said to graze on it freely, gotu kola is simply known as the longevity leaf.
